Operational Oversight:
- Manage the daily functions of the site.
- Ensure compliance with company protocols, safety guidelines, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate fuel deliveries and assist in managing railcar placements and inventory levels.
- Develop and enforce processes aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste.
Team Leadership:
- Guide, train, and supervise a team of site staff.
- Design and oversee staff schedules to guarantee sufficient coverage and smooth operations.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and offer constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Equipment Maintenance and Management:
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams or external contractors for necessary repairs and upgrades.
- Regularly inspect the site to maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper signage.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity, ideally within the fuel or a related sector.
- Thorough understanding of fuel handling, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and inventory management systems.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Valid Class 1 driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.83 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
