You will work closely with other departments to act as a bridge, leading global tax initiatives and serving as the subject matter expert on tax matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing geographically dispersed finance teams on federal, state, and local level tax instalments.
- Supporting Canadian, US, and regional finance teams with implementation of new tax legislation and restructuring.
- Primary point of contact with tax advisors and supporting the development of regional and international tax planning projects.
- Implementing global transfer pricing policies and maintaining reports and relevant documentation.
- Developing modelling to project future tax costs.
- Contributing to and implementing corporate and departmental strategies.
A strong analytical skillset using Excel is essential, as well as exposure to international tax and transfer pricing.
