Job Overview

Work Environment

The role involves working in a butcher shop, supermarket meat department, or a meat processing facility. You will encounter cold/refrigerated conditions and distinct odours typical of the meat industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean meats for processing.
  • Fulfill customer orders for special cuts of meat.
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard meat cuts.
  • Package and wrap prepared meats efficiently.
  • Remove bones from various meat products.
  • Weigh and price meat items for sale.
  • Grind meats as required.
Specialty Areas

Experience with Halal meat preparation is preferred.

Physical Demands
