Your Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry networks and clients, ensuring their satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the growth and development of your team, aligning their efforts with GHD's core values. Provide mentorship, coaching, and opportunities for professional advancement.
  • Performance Management: Oversee project resourcing, systems, and processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services that meet client requirements and budgets.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities within projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide thought leadership and regulatory oversight in the field of contaminated sites assessment and remediation. Mentor your team and clients on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies, actively pursuing new client opportunities and expanding GHD's market presence.
Your Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer, Professional Geoscientist, or Environmental Scientist designation.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a minimum of 5 years leading environmental teams.
  • Post-graduate degree and/or PMP designations are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the environmental market in Western Canada and North America, including future influences and trends.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in personnel management, decision-making, change management, employee development, performance management, and team building.
  • Strong technical authority in contaminated sites assessment and remediation.
  • Business acumen and commercial skills.
