Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Compassionate Care Home & Hospital Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, hospitals, and other care settings. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and a passion for working with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
  • Support patients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and transferring
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Healthcare Aide Certificate or equivalent experience
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
