We are seeking a dedicated and skilled tax advisor fluent in both French and English to assist clients in navigating their tax obligations using Intuit TurboTax solutions. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World" by delivering exceptional support and guidance throughout the TurboTax Live process. Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in tax preparation using industry-standard software
  • Experience preparing at least 125 tax returns per season over the past three years
  • Proficient in preparing and filing comprehensive personal tax returns covering various topics such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135, foreign income, and applicable credits/deductions
  • Possession of a current CRA RepID to utilize the CRA Represent a Client service
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and principles
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Technologically adept with Windows, Mac, mobile platforms, and G-suite applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Flexible availability and scheduling
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience
  • Familiarity with Quebec Tax (TP1) returns is a plus
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (reading, writing, speaking) is highly advantageous
  • Experience in a contact center environment is beneficial
  • This position is entirely remote; no travel is necessary
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tax guidance for personal tax returns in a remote, customer-facing role
  • Collaborate with clients to prepare and review their tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Research and resolve tax-related inquiries while communicating effectively with clients
  • Provide a comprehensive service experience, assisting clients in preparing, reviewing, and filing their returns with the CRA
  • Investigate tax regulations to offer informed advice on optimizing clients' tax returns
  • Create positive customer interactions that foster confidence through empathy and in-depth tax knowledge
  • Proactively seek and provide accurate answers for clients by utilizing government resources and professional expertise, translating complex information into accessible language
