Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geomatics professional to join our team as an Oilfield Survey Crew Chief in Fort McMurray. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a crew of survey assistants and ensuring the successful completion of survey projects throughout Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Survey wellsites, pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline integrity, and construction projects
  • Travel as required, with shift work potentially lasting up to 21 days
  • Work in various weather conditions and follow safety protocols
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
  • Prepare accurate field notes, records, and calculations
Requirements
  • Strong focus on relationships and internal/external communication
  • Desire for excellence in all aspects of work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with clients
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Degree/diploma in Geomatics and experience leading an oilfield survey crew
  • Experience with drones is an asset
