We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Superintendent to join our team at CareerBeacon. As a key member of our Engineering, Maintenance & Reliability team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our electrical assets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers to achieve operational targets.
- Conduct complex engineering studies, field inspections, and prepare relevant reports.
- Develop and implement electrical engineering standards and guidelines.
- Review and approve electrical engineering designs, estimates, and calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical engineering.
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Eligible for registration as a licensed professional engineer with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a heavy industry such as Mining, Pulp & Paper, or Oil & Gas.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence and promote a high-reliability culture.
- Robust knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, and transformers.
- Experience with industrial control systems and instrumentation.
- Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.
