Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Sanitation Specialist to join our team at The Rec Room in Barrie. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain impeccable sanitation standards for all dishes, equipment, and smallwares, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
  • Uphold a meticulous cleaning regimen for the entire kitchen area, including refrigerators and storerooms, promoting a hygienic workspace.
  • Assist in the organization and transportation of dishes and equipment, contributing to efficient workflow.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Embrace professional work ethics and uphold the values of Cineplex Entertainment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused role is preferred.
  • Food Safe certification is highly desirable.
  • WHMIS certificate is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Team-oriented approach and willingness to collaborate effectively.
