Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Chopped Leaf. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Our kitchen and dining areas are fast-paced and dynamic, requiring a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
