About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at AAYUR REHAB PHYSIOTHERAPY INC. as a Rehabilitation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Equipment and Supply Management: Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document patient rehabilitation progress and communicate effectively with patients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, and coordinate with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Education and Training: Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, and provide education on proper techniques and safety precautions.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and a team player.
  • Work Environment: 30 to 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
