Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Leader to join our team at Acsenda School of Management. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching courses in your area of specialization, providing leadership to students, and contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in your area of expertise, exemplifying high-quality and student-focused instruction.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to students in your specialized field.
  • Keep current in your field of expertise through research and/or practice.
  • Assist the Director with course and program administration related to your area of academic expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of our academic programs through curriculum review and development.
  • Participate in regular faculty meetings and contribute to faculty development.
  • Act as a key contact with professional bodies and networks to promote communication and awareness of our programs.
  • Plan and support intra and extra-curricular student activities.
  • Contribute to the BCCAT articulation process and provide academic expertise in course-by-course evaluations.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our curriculum and program development.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in the related discipline (Doctoral level degree preferred).
  • Two years or more of directly related post-secondary level teaching experience.
  • 5 or more years of related professional/industry experience.
  • Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to relate concepts to business practice and employ current pedagogical techniques.
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to motivate students and other faculty members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and networking skills.
