Pizza Artisan

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Artisan to join our team at World Food Network. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pizzas that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and prepare ingredients such as dough, sauces, cheese, and toppings to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain dough consistency and ensure it is properly proofed to meet our standards.
• Capable of manually stretching pizza dough by hand to achieve the perfect shape and texture.
• Roll, stretch, and shape pizza dough to the desired size and thickness to meet our customers' preferences.
• Inspect pizzas for quality before they are served to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, dough rollers, and mixers to efficiently produce high-quality pizzas.
• Keep the kitchen, work surfaces, and equipment clean and organized to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Monitor ingredient levels and report any shortages or needs for replenishment to ensure we always have the necessary ingredients on hand.
• Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and meet our customers' needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum three to four years of experience as a pizza maker or in a similar culinary role.
• Knowledge of pizza preparation techniques and kitchen equipment to ensure high-quality pizzas.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality to meet our high standards.
• Capable of working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment to meet the demands of our customers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the store's operating hours and needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet our customers' needs.
