Licensed Diesel Truck Technician

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced and licensed diesel truck technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments to ensure expertise and efficiency
- 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair
- Provincial license (Red Seal/310T) and membership with relevant government agencies
- Current driver's license class D or class 3 with air brake certification
- Proficiency in using tools of trade, including welding equipment and diagnostic tools
- Basic computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
