The Program Management Office (PMO) for Avionics is on the lookout for a driven and results-oriented programs analyst to join our team. In this position, you will be tasked with steering a portfolio of essential projects to successful completion. The chosen candidate will lead a cross-functional team, including external suppliers, and manage all facets of project execution.
Define the goals and objectives of the program and its impact on the business; Oversee the development and management of strategies, schedules, and budgets for your project portfolio; Establish and monitor metrics to assess performance and progress, prepare status reports, and adjust schedules and plans as necessary; Provide daily leadership to cross-functional teams; Present project timelines, business cases, and updates during regular reviews with senior management; Identify key project risks and develop corresponding mitigation strategies; Escalate issues to the appropriate management level as needed; Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.What it takes to excel in this role
A bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business; A technical or manufacturing background in aerospace is considered an asset; Over five (5) years of relevant experience; Proactive, results-oriented, and decisive; Strong project management experience (PMP certification is an asset), along with team leadership and solid analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills; Exceptional communication abilities (both written and verbal) and the capacity to influence at various organizational levels; Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines while fulfilling commitments; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and Power BI; Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).#LI-hybrid
