About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate live-in caregiver to join our team at Marko Vukorepa. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our clients, including assisting with daily living activities, preparing meals, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Errands and Transportation: Assist clients with errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions, and provide transportation to appointments or social events.
  • Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with clients, family members, and other caregivers, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a caregiving role or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Availability: Availability to work a 40-hour week, including evenings and weekends.
