Skilled Practical Nurse Opportunity

Are you passionate about providing quality nursing care? We are currently seeking a committed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care.
In this role, under the supervision of the Home & Community Care Manager, the LPN will utilize their independence and initiative to assess, plan, and coordinate care for clients in various community environments. The LPN will ensure high standards of care by supporting and guiding the work of community health workers and residential care aides. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, the LPN may conduct intake assessments, provide personal care, deliver health education, perform nursing procedures, and develop individualized care plans.
Work ScheduleDays - 08:30 to 16:30 on a rotating basis
CompensationThe new wage is: $41.35/hour

- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN.
- Completion of an approved pharmacology course and head-to-toe assessment training.
- A minimum of two years of acute care experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid Class V BC Driver's License.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- At least three years of experience working with the elderly, frail, or disabled populations, preferably in community settings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Physical capability to perform the duties required of the position.
- Proficiency in operating relevant equipment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
