Job Summary

Top Quality Lumber Ltd. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts.
  • Wood Fabrication: Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.
  • Gluing and Finishing: Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
  • Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
