Position Overview

The role of a Cutter Operator at DIVISION 2 CONTRACTING LTD. involves the precise operation of various cutting machines to shape materials according to specified dimensions.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal education, certificate, or diploma is required.
Work Environment

This position is primarily set in a demolition context, where safety and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize blade or wire saws to accurately cut stone blocks.
  • Set up and manage automatic machinery for mixing, extruding, and cutting clay materials.
  • Adjust and operate single-function machines for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting concrete.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products.
  • Safely transport materials using forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists.
  • Operate mechanical or hydraulic rams and hot presses for pottery and porcelain production.
  • Perform regular adjustments to machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Drill precise holes in stone blocks or slabs as per specifications.
Physical Requirements

Ability to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
