We are in search of a Warehouse Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our Supply Chain Management team. This role is essential for the effective management of warehouse activities at our operational sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and ensure the safe, efficient, and precise execution of warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Conduct inspections and counts of incoming materials, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained.
- Assist in monitoring warehouse capacity and resources to optimize daily operations.
- Prepare necessary documentation for any discrepancies in material conditions and maintain accurate logs.
- Perform regular inventory checks to validate stock records and ensure accuracy.
- Support the management in maintaining control over all materials for operational use.
- Document and manage material issues in compliance with established procedures.
- Prepare shipping documentation for materials dispatched from various locations.
- Maintain logs for industrial gas bottles and returnable containers.
- Oversee the supply chain for both stock and non-stock materials, ensuring timely delivery to site teams.
- Review material requests and collaborate with planners to guarantee material availability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Engage proactively with colleagues and stakeholders across various levels.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach in all warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Certification in warehousing is advantageous.
- Mandatory certifications in Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
- Forklift Operator certification is required.
- Experience with Maximo software is essential.
- Strong skills in relationship management and collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Capability to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with material systems and logistics within the energy sector.
- Proficient in standard desktop software and data management.
- General understanding of the planning, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country.
