Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting patient evaluations and prescribing medications
  • Providing Travel Health Consultations
  • Managing chronic health conditions
  • Administering medications via injection
  • Processing lab requisitions and interpreting laboratory results
  • Offering guidance on medication usage
  • Overseeing dispensary and pharmacy workflow tasks
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Valid Alberta Pharmacist License
  • Certification in Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA)
  • Injection Certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Relevant accreditations such as CDE, CRE, CTH, etc.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with HealthWATCH software
