Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity and Network Specialist to join our team in Moncton, NB. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data and network systems, with a strong emphasis on security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Security Policies and Procedures
  • Engage in SOC2 Assessments and Ensure Compliance
  • Perform Risk Assessments and Identify Vulnerabilities
  • Monitor Network Security Events and Logs
  • Maintain and Configure Firewalls and Network Security Devices
  • Conduct Regular Security Audits and Assessments
  • Collaborate with the IT Team to Design Secure Network Architectures
  • Respond to and Investigate Security Breaches
  • Educate and Train Staff on Network and Data Security Protocols
  • Stay Updated on New Security Trends and Best Practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a Related Field
  • At Least 2-3 Years of Experience in Cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of SOC2 Assessment Processes and Risk Assessment Techniques
  • Strong Understanding of Network Infrastructure and Network Hardware
  • Ability to Implement, Administer, and Troubleshoot Network Infrastructure Devices
  • Knowledge of Application Transport and Network Infrastructure Protocols
  • Experience with Network Security Solutions
  • Professional Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CISA, CISSP)
