Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the qualification, calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory and facility instrumentation and equipment in accordance with our standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform qualification, calibration, and preventative maintenance activities on laboratory and facility instrumentation and equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement repairs.
• Develop and maintain technical SOPs and calibration procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to colleagues as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair in a pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and equipment, including LC/MS, UPLC, HPLC, GC-Headspace, GC/MS, ICP-MS, and dissolution.
• Experience with calibration standards, hand tools, and electric meters.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
