Job Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager, Engineering, you will be responsible for leading complex capital projects from concept to completion, providing technical support and guidance in troubleshooting plant equipment and services. You will also represent the company in dealing with government agencies and obtaining necessary approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to plant equipment and service teams.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems and processes, increasing efficiency and productivity.
  4. Represent the company in dealings with government agencies, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
  5. Assess and prioritize process/project opportunities, identifying gaps and managing them from start to finish.
  6. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance overall plant efficiency.
  7. Work closely with Plant Managers to foster a culture of continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Requirements:

  1. Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food processing).
  2. Professional Engineer designation is required.
  3. PMP certification is considered an asset.
  4. Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in managing capital projects.
  5. Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments, including utility systems.
  6. Strong organizational and project management skills.
