Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Building Science Solutions Technician to join our team at Intertek. As a key member of our Building Science Solutions business, you will play a critical role in supporting our commercial construction projects by conducting site reviews and testing of building envelope components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site reviews of installed building envelope components and assemblies to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Perform field testing of building envelope components to verify compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare written reports for all site reviews and testing.
  • Manage punch lists for ongoing projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Assist with laboratory testing of building envelope products.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related experience and/or commercial construction experience.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Technical knowledge of building construction and building envelope systems.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Acrobat.
  • Ability to travel and valid driver's license.
