Our client, a leading public sector organization, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Systems Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the InfoDec Modernization Project, developing an interconnected suite of systems to enhance online services.

The InfoDec Modernization project aims to modernize business processes and reduce manual data capture. As a Senior Java Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing backend Java systems using J2EE, EJBs, Eclipse, Maven, and other technologies
  • Reviewing system documents from architects and making new developments as required
  • Reviewing code developed and performing unit and integration testing
  • Documenting constraints and assumptions for each user story based on business requirements
  • Assisting in the management of releases following Agile Methodology

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a Systems Analyst using Java
  • 5+ years of experience working with EJBs, Eclipse, WebLogic, DevOps, and Maven

Prior experience with Agile certification, Angular, and a university degree or college diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus.
