TIIKA CONSTRUCTION INC. is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in various settings.
Key Responsibilities- Install and Mount Piping Systems: Install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supports.
- Select and Prepare Pipe: Select, measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe to required specifications.
- Connect Piping Systems: Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
- Service and Repair Sprinkler Systems: Service and repair sprinkler systems, including removing and replacing worn components and reactivating the system.
- Measure and Cut Pipe: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
- Test for Leaks: Test systems for leaks using testing equipment.
- Weld and Join Pipes: Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systems.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in pipefitting or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in French.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
