Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner, Heavy Duty to join our team at Concept Plastics Limited. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all areas are free from clutter and debris.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Snow and Ice Removal: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and requires minimal supervision.
