Job Title: Housekeeping Team Member

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at the Prince George Family Y. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our members and staff.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general housekeeping duties, including cleaning rooms, floors, glass, fixtures, and servicing and stocking paper, soap, and sanitizer dispensers. You will also be responsible for cleaning fitness equipment and assisting the housekeeping team with seasonal and occasional major cleaning projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning rooms, floors, glass, fixtures, and servicing and stocking paper, soap, and sanitizer dispensers.
  • Clean fitness equipment.
  • Assist the housekeeping team with seasonal and occasional major cleaning projects.
  • Work professionally, independently, consciously, and safely.
Requirements:
  • Three satisfactory professional references.
  • Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector search.
  • Physical ability to work evenings and perform the duties required.
  • A combination of experience and training related to building maintenance and cleaning or experience working in a recreation or health services-related facility or similar venue will be considered an asset.
