Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
- Operate within the scope of practice outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and unit-specific protocols.
About this Location/Unit:
Our OMH (100 Mile hospital) is a 16-bed rural hospital located in the heart of 100 Mile House. This bustling community offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including lakes, hiking trails, biking, and skiing. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to approximately 13,000 ER patients per year. We value work-life balance and offer a supportive team environment that prioritizes your well-being.
What We Offer:
As a casual employee with Interior Health Authority, you will enjoy a competitive hourly wage of $32.84 to $41.35, effective April 1, 2024.
