Job Summary:
Hydro One Networks Inc. is seeking a Co-op Student - Environmental Support Analyst - Waste Management to support the day-to-day activities of the Hydro One Waste Hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing administrative information, performing data processing assignments, and working with external suppliers and internal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Hydro One Waste Hub in managing waste requirements across the province.
- Process administrative information and perform data processing assignments to produce reports and correspondence.
- Work with external suppliers and internal clients on administrative activities related to waste management.
- Process invoices and service requests, and follow up on missing information.
- Stay up-to-date on changes and legislation impacting the waste disposal industry.
- Assist in the development of specifications and descriptions of desired services.
- Document and review procedural documents and training packages related to waste management.
- Set up and maintain organized filing systems.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a 2-year Environmental Technology/Technician Program at the College level.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
What You Will Learn:
- Business and waste management analysis experience.
- Experience supporting programs and projects for hazardous and non-hazardous waste management.
- Develop strong time management and organizational skills.
- Develop knowledge of current Environmental Regulations.
