About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Insurance Underwriter to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing and servicing an existing renewal book of Cyber & Professional Liability insurance, as well as producing and underwriting new accounts from brokers within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of coverage needs for clients, including manuscript forms tailored to specific client requirements
  • Utilize data analytics and modeling tools to inform pricing decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and insureds through effective communication and presentation skills
  • Meet or exceed assigned budget targets and maintain profitability

Requirements

  • Proven experience underwriting a diverse book of Cyber & Professional Liability insurance with multiple broker firms
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to meet deadlines and follow company guidelines
  • Confident knowledge of systems and PC applications, including spreadsheets
