Position Overview

As a Home Support Worker at YUAN SU, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include providing essential personal care and companionship to elderly individuals in their homes.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset, but not mandatory. We welcome candidates with 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Work Environment

This position offers optional live-in accommodation at no cost, although this is not a requirement for employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene needs.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Change non-sterile dressings and collect specimens as needed.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, mend items as necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Shop for food and household supplies as required.
Target Audience

This role primarily focuses on providing care for elderly individuals.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Weight handling capability of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Employment Details
