About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our team at Hornbill Insurance Brokers Inc. as a key member of our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and success.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate human, financial, and material resources to support business objectives.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Staff Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
  • Event Management: Manage events and ensure their successful execution.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a finance, insurance, or consulting firm.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a dynamic environment with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
