Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Foyer Bois Joli inc. in a senior care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a secondary education and at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and functions
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Prepare special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary education
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
Working Conditions:

40 hours per week, permanent position

Language:

English or French
