Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at JCD Trucking Ltd. as a Delivery Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods and products.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Warehouse and Inventory Management: Prepare, package, and restock goods, as well as load and unload goods from vehicles.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G License (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work overtime as required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
