ServiceNow Admin Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Admin to join our team at Forhyre. As a ServiceNow Admin, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support and implementation of the ServiceNow system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactive Operations and Environment Maintenance: Ensure the ServiceNow system is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and Configure ServiceNow Enhancements: Design and implement custom configurations to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Issue Resolution and Communication: Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, providing proactive updates to stakeholders.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Collaborate with internal teams, leaders, customers, stakeholders, vendors, and external teams to ensure effective communication.
  • Support Platform Architecture: Work with teams to implement tools and plugins, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • CMDB Data Quality: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for CMDB data quality.
  • Knowledge Base Utilization: Leverage the knowledge base to find solutions from previous cases.
  • ADO Ticket Management: Ensure ADO tickets are properly updated and asset management systems are accurately maintained.
  • Technical Documentation: Create clear and concise technical and process documentation.
  • Task Ownership and Adaptability: Take ownership of tasks, manage them through completion, and know when to ask for help, while being flexible to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
Requirements:
  • Strong ServiceNow Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow administration, configuration, and CMDB management.
  • Office Productivity: Strong understanding of Office products and their integration with ServiceNow.
  • CMDB Management: Proven experience in managing CMDB data quality and defining KPIs.
  • Active Directory and Discovery Tools: Understanding of Active Directory, Discovery Tools (Discovery and SCCM), and ADO.
  • Basic Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members, as well as strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • College Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in end-user services, information technology, or a related field.
