We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Manager to join our Prime team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable software systems
  • Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and technical requirements
  • Driving technical innovation and experimentation to improve customer experiences and business outcomes
  • Ensuring the highest levels of quality, security, and compliance in our software systems
  • Mentoring and developing the skills of your team members to help them grow in their careers

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on leadership and management
  • 3+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams
  • 8+ years of experience designing and architecting scalable and reliable software systems
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams to define product roadmaps and technical requirements
  • Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features

The base salary for this position ranges from $171,400/year up to $286,200/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
