Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to provide exceptional therapeutic services to our clients at Royal Touch Medi Spa. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client care and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: Must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in massage therapy is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
  • Utilize various massage techniques including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
  • Apply targeted pressure to specific areas of the body to alleviate discomfort.
  • Conduct assessments through range of motion and muscle testing to create effective treatment strategies.
  • Communicate procedures, potential risks, and benefits clearly to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all treatments administered.
  • Perform massage and kneading techniques on muscles and soft tissues.
  • Provide clients with home care instructions and information about therapeutic techniques.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Must be certified by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to engage in repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
