About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at Khella Homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality structures.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring budgetary efficiency.
Work Environment

As a Woodworking Specialist, you will work primarily outdoors, with occasional indoor tasks. You will be part of a team of 3-4 people, working together to achieve project goals.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling of heavy loads.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours of work per week.
