We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to become part of our team in Calgary. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct reactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance on equipment. Diagnose and repair industrial electrical and associated systems.
  • Facility Oversight: Ensure the safety and well-being of our facility, manage preventative and corrective maintenance, and uphold compliance with applicable standards.
  • Optimization & Monitoring: Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and oversee the infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Client Engagement: Deliver outstanding customer service, coordinate with contractors, and uphold security protocols.
Working Environment:
  • Rotational Shifts: Operate in a 24/7 critical environment with a rotating schedule (14 days/month).
  • On-Call Readiness: Be available to respond to urgent incidents and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 4+ years in data centers, facility management, or critical environments. Proficiency with electrical and mechanical systems, including BMS/EPMS and BAS systems.
  • Certifications: Electrical certifications (e.g., Journeyman Electrician), Mechanical/HVAC certifications, and other relevant qualifications are preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a solid understanding of data center operations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
