Richardson Oilseed is one of Canada's oldest and largest fully-integrated oilseed processing and packaging operations, with three facilities across Canada. We produce a wide variety of canola-based products, including bulk canola oil and meal, as well as margarines, oils, and shortenings for the industrial, retail, and foodservice markets.
Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Packaging Operator to join our team at our Lethbridge location. As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production lines.
Responsibilities
- Health and Safety
- Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the day-to-day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times.
- Report all unsafe acts and conditions, incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedure.
- Production Support
- Provide assistance to production line operators.
- Check labels, codes, banding, and box seals.
- Assist with changeover.
- Stack product.
- Sanitize equipment and work areas.
- Qualifications
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a food production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work rotating shift schedules.
