We are a leading real estate investment company with a strong presence in the industry. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled Law Clerk Specialist to join our team.


Job Summary:

The Law Clerk Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to real estate transactions, including drafting, organizing, and maintaining corporate records. This is a full-time position that requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe, as well as experience using Teraview and Dye Durham software.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Coordination: Manage all aspects of commercial, condominium, and residential real estate transactions, including drafting, organizing, and maintaining corporate records.
  • Corporate Searches: Conduct corporate searches and prepare corporate minute books.
  • Liaison Services: Act as liaison between clients, law clerks, lenders, real estate/mortgage brokers and agents, and all municipalities.
  • Deal Information: Collect and summarize deal information.
  • Title Searches: Conduct and review title and off-title searches.
  • Final Reports: Prepare final legal reports and accounts.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
  • Contract Drafting: Assist with drafting shareholder agreements and other commercial contracts.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactions, including commercial, condominium, and residential, and 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on maintaining, organizing, and drafting corporate records.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe, and experience using Teraview and Dye Durham software.
