Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Developer to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Global Functions Technology division, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative and transformative IT solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, and deploy high-performing applications using Python and Unix.
  • Liaise with business partners to deliver solutions based on client needs.
  • Provide technical influence by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
  • Maintain code quality and best practices across the stack.
  • Support and maintain the team application suites on various technical infrastructures and architectures.
  • Ensure system availability and lead the planning of disaster recovery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Python development.
  • Experience with databases, such as SQL, including query optimization.
  • Experience using DevOps concepts and tooling to deliver applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
