Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Food Service Operations to join our team at Florida Pizza & Steakhouse Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and train food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Operations Management: Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Hire and train new staff members to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Communication: Prepare and present food order summaries to the chef and other stakeholders.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all staff members undergo necessary background checks and adhere to company security protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
