Floral Long Term Care is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing team.
Job Duties:- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and develop strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, medication errors, or other safety concerns to the Director of Nursing Services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- M.S./B.S. or equivalent experience preferred.
- Nursing experience with clinical competence and strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and appreciation for the aging process.
- Ability to be self-directive in delegated areas of responsibility.
Must be a Canadian citizen.
Salary: Up to $40 an hour.
