About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at A&W. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, taking orders and handling payments.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items to order, using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs, and sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand.
  • Inventory Management: Restock refrigerators and salad bars, and keep records of food quantities used.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service, and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
