Marketing Coordinator Opportunity at Pet Valu

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing various marketing strategies and plans to drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, and in-store promotions.
  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing plans, including market analysis and trend research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, stores/operations, merchandising, customer service, IT, operations, finance, and logistics.
  • Provide stores with best practices learnings on key portfolio channels.
  • Travel to stores outside regular office hours and attend tradeshows within the GTA.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of marketing or advertising experience, with a focus on event planning or writing.
  • Experience in a retail organization is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the pet industry is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing is preferred.
