Job Title: Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion to join our team at Hamilton High Street Residence.

Job Summary:

The Companion will provide personalized support and care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with residents
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and standing
Work Conditions:

The Companion will work in a residential setting, providing support to residents in their homes. The work environment is fast-paced and requires flexibility and adaptability.
