Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Parts Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Auto Electric & Constant Velocity Drives Inc. This is a permanent position with a focus on providing exceptional customer service in a retail and wholesale environment.

QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and relay telephone calls and messages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office, supply area, or warehouse.
  • Conduct sales calls and perform general office duties.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Advise customers on the use and suitability of goods or parts.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Identify, label, and catalogue incoming items.
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
  • Maintain records using an inventory control system.
  • Prepare and track work orders efficiently.
  • Process incoming requisitions and replenish parts and supplies as needed.
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and materials.
  • Sell spare and replacement parts to customers.
  • Manage shipping, delivery, or pickup of parts and products.
  • Store items in the warehouse or supply area appropriately.
  • Perform order picking tasks as required.
Supervision
  • Oversee the work of customer service clerks.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Internet usage.
Specialization
  • Knowledge in automobile and electrical products is essential.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable and pass a criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity license check is required.
Transportation Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
Physical Demands
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Work effectively under pressure.
  • Must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
